TURNER CRACKS 100 YARDS WITH EASE
Michael Turner posted his third consecutive 100-yard game and needed only nine carries to do it, gaining 111 rushing yards in the Falcons' 28-19 loss at Carolina. Turner has averaged 7.6 yards per carry, 9.2 yards, and 12.3 yards in his last three games to become the third player in NFL history to record three straight 100-yard rushing games, averaging at least 7.5 yards per carry in each one. The others were Jim Brown in 1958 and Franco Harris in 1972.
